This video uses a surreal narrative to predict what ‘life flashing before your eyes’ would look and feel like in a very literal sense. In the video we see a man face a car crash, and therefore also his childhood home, decisions that have troubled him previously in life and the fear that accompanies youth.

The way each image meshes with the next creates a convincing dreamlike world for us to marvel at. It’s spectacular as well as cathartic. Seeing the adult character re-discovering each memory in his new eyes, moreover his old relationships and his impact on them, pulls the heartstrings as the car bounds on. This is one well thought out and beautifully executed video.
