Swedish duo Say Lou Lou have a knack for gorgeous, invigorating pop and equally gorgeous videos. 2012’s “Maybe You” stands as the song that catapulted them to status of underground pop darlings with its yearnful lyricism and nostalgic, wonderous production. The video is a beautiful short in the aesthetic which to us resembles a black and white photoshoot. You’d be forgiven for suspecting the opening to be the introduction of a fashion film, especially given the beauty of the cast consisting of the girls and a male acting as third wheel. High contrast black and white shots linger, moving in slow motion like photography stills brought to life; a perfect companion to such a dreamy track.

The girls debut album “Lucid Dreaming” was released earlier this year and most recent single “Nothing but a Heartbeat” also serves visual delights.
